"Because of Mr. Terupt" is an incredible book written by Rob Buyea. “Because of Mr. Terupt" is the first book in a series of three. This book is a story about a few middle schoolers and a teacher. As the years go on, the teacher and the kids find their troubles bringing them closer and closer together. Throughout the book, the teacher helps the kids overcome adversity and the kids help the teacher get through hard times. “Because of Mr. Terupt” is an inspiring, eye-opening and is my favorite book in the world!

I didn't enjoy the book because I thought it was very repetitive. The story was all Simon trying to figure out who Blue is and it is very predictable. I read the book Ghost for Round 3 of Lit circles. I REALLY liked this book! It had lots of interesting things that people can relate to, especially me because it was about track and I do and enjoy track.  I thought this book did a great job of grabbing the reader's attention right away. The only thing I have a concern about is the ending. It doesn't have a good ending at all. If I could change the book a little, I would make it have a better ending.
